How to Make Clones Root Faster? 420 Guide 2019 Updated

Naturally, marijuana plants don’t have any root growth because they don’t have a large capacity to hold water. To let the plant grow without any water shortages, you must constantly trim the edges, especially near harvest.  However, instead of throwing away the cuttings, you can start rooting clones. Marijuana clones are much easier to root than you think, but unless you take the right steps, the process can be overlong.

How to make clones root faster? How long do clones take to root normally? Even for beginners, understanding the answers to these questions is not difficult. Hence, all you need to do is follow a few simple steps, which you’ll find in our step by step guide.

Get The Peat Pellets Ready
The peat pellets are packaged in a dried, compressed form. To use them, you need to first expand them. You do this with water.

Use one of the buckets or bowls and fill it with warm water. Put the pellets you plan on using in the water and let them soak until they have expanded.

Once they’ve expanded fully, remove them from the water and squeeze out the excess water. Then place them in the cloning tray.

Use Fertilizer
After watering your plant for the first time, get a bottle of hydrogen peroxide with a 0.5% concentration.
Do not use fertilizer the first time you water your plant but it is recommended to start using one for the second watering.

Lighting
For best results, you should also keep your garden lighted with 5000 K fluorescent tubes. You can also choose seedling led grow light. These would imitate the natural lighting that your plant would get in its natural environment.

Install one fluorescent tube for every cloning space so your plants would grow equally.

After about 7 to 10 days, the roots should start showing. At that point, you should increase the concentration of the vegetative formula to 800 ppm. If you want to wait to plant the marijuana clones, keep the lights at 10 watts per square foot. Usually, the plants will grow slowly, but, to increase their rate of growth, you should add more lighting tubes (around two tubes per foot of width). After doing this for week, you should have plants with vigorous new vegetative growth.
