The Mars TS 1000 Quantum Board comes with 150 watts of actual power and coverage of 3 x 3 foot (90 x 90 cm). With an impressive 2.1 – 2.35 umol/J these lights are very efficient.
The average yields are 1.5g/W, which usa quite high so users should expect to have a larger number of crops compared to HPS lights.

They produce same heat under the same wattage, but the thick heat sink design makes Mars SP series release more heat than Mars TS series.
Most advantages of the TS series are the same as those of the SP series reviewed above. For that reason, I will only cover the differences here.
As with the SP lights, the TS lights have a great spectrum for any stage of growth. But their spectrum is a little different than the SP spectrum.
The TS lights do not have any UV and IR diodes. That’s not a huge deal, to be honest, but may matter to some.
The truth is, UV and IR light may make a small difference in yield quality, but it has not yet been definitely proven. All things being equal, I would prefer a light with UV and IR, so I would probably go for the SP series.
That said, it is easy enough to just get a supplemental light that provides UV and/or IR. Since UV light really only has an effect during the final few weeks of flowering, it may even be better to just get a cheap UV fluorescent bulb instead.

Whilst there are most expensive options on the market, with more features, the value and efficiency provided by the TS 1000W is hard to beat. I think the majority of home growers would be really pleased with this model.
