Canada
Canada passed Bill C-45, or the Cannabis Act, which legalized personal use and cultivation of cannabis for all adults! Storefronts opened on October 17, 2018. The bill makes marijuana legal but lets each province set age limits (typically between 18-21) and other restrictions, including whether cannabis can be legally sold in retail stores.

South Africa
The highest court in South Africa ruled in September 2018 that is legal for adult citizens over the age of 18 to use.

United States
While cannabis is illegal at the federal level, many states have enacted various levels of legalization.

How to grow your own weed?
Cannabis is a sexed plant; the drug is the flower from the female. The hard to detect presence of a male plant can ruin the flower produced by a whole room of females. To avoid pollination, large-scale marijuana grows typically use clones instead of seeds, and Graf recommends novice growers to begin with clones as well. The wrong lighting can also be ruinous for a very expensive crop.

How much light do marijuana plants need indoors?
When growing marijuana indoors you will need a cannabis grow light to cater for the plants light needs. People who grow indoors always use a timer that they connect their grow light too. This ensures your plants are on a strict light cycle that simulates the sun outdoors. Using a timer automates the process for you.

When looking for indoor grow lights there are many options to choose from. You could use ordinary fluorescent grow lights found in your home. The more serious home grower will invest a bit more in specialised grow light for maximum yields. Generally speaking, the more light, the more bud you will produce.

There is a grow light option that can fit nearly any budget. You can always expand your grow area over time. If you are on a small budget, then start small and buy more equipment as time goes on.

AIR: For strength and proper exchange of gases, cannabis requires fresh moving air. Outdoors this is no problems your plants will be exposed to breeze and gale alike. Indoors your plants will need a fresh air intake, stale air exhaust and a fan for air movement. Still environments encourage pests, moulds and weak growth. A buildup of aspirated gases will stunt plant growth.
