Tips to Grow Green Crack Cannabis Seeds or Cuttings

Green Crack is probably one of the most controversial names when it comes to naming cannabis strains. We are taking something medicinal and beneficial and giving it a name that is synonymous with hard drugs… probably wasn’t the best idea for the industry but in the moment Snoop Dogg was probably thinking more about the strong sativa effects this strain has.

This strains is 100% not for those who want to sleep. Take the typical effects you would get from a sativa and Green Crack adds some extra euphoria to that with a lot of energy and potent sativa effects. The type of strain you may want to start the day off with.

For people who love to get awake, the Green Crack strain sounds like a dream that come true. It takes certain skill to cultivate a unique hybrid like this one. I remember the first time I tried to grow some Green Crack. It wasn’t the best experience I had as a cannabis grower. But I did learn a lot from that experience.

Green Crack is fairly easy to grow, with it being flexible enough to grow indoors and outdoors. When grown outdoors, however, it has the ability to stretch a bit more. Because it can be sensitive to powdery mildew, it is recommended to keep the humidity low when growing Green Crack. Ideally, when grown outdoors, it should be grown in a balmy, mediterranean climate.

When growing Green Crack indoors, the plant needs a lot of air circulation. It can produce an average of up to 18 ounces per square meter, and can deliver within an estimated 7 to 9 weeks.

If you grow outdoors in the right climate, the wind circulates the air, so your Green Crack plants have no issues growing strong and healthy. If you’re using a marijuana grow tent, develop a ventilation system. The cannabis grow light system you use dictates the level of ventilation you need.

Above all else, make sure you have an exhaust fan, duct tape, ducting, and an inline duct fan. Make sure the ducting is the correct size for your cannabis grow tent, or else you’ll require reducers and clamps. Line the ducting up with your exhaust fan and attach it with duct tape. Run more of it through a hole in the tent and attach a carbon filter to the extractor fan and place it on the roof.

Connect any outside ducting you use to a window or vent to exhaust hot air from your room. To maintain proper airflow inside, consider using an oscillating fan or clip-on fans. As a rule of thumb, exchange air every 60-120 seconds if you intend to maintain optimal humidity and temperature.

Add More Phosphorus Early in the Flowering Stage
Like all cannabis seeds or marijuana plants, adding the right and balanced ingredients is imperative. This is to maintain a balanced pH. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, which are the three most important soil ingredients must be applied in the right balance.  For example, if you start to water your plants early enough, you need to significantly apply more Phosphorous. If you don’t provide your plants with the right or balanced nutrient levels, they will suffer and may likely die.

Avoiding Overheating
It is also a good idea to install a water-cooled system that reduces the heat produced by the lights. As you know, electric light bulbs produce both light and heat when switched on. If they are powered on for at least 18 hours a day, they become incredibly hot. With a cooling system, you benefit from ample light for your plants while ensuring the grow room temperature doesn’t reach excessive levels.
